An OPG machine uses a rotating arm to capture the X-ray image, which provides a comprehensive view of the entire oral cavity, including any teeth that may be impacted or hidden from view.
A dental CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) is a specialized type of dental X-ray machine that uses cone-shaped X-ray beams to produce a detailed, three-dimensional image of the teeth, jawbone, and surrounding structures. CBCT scans are more precise and accurate than traditional dental X-rays and provide a more detailed view of the oral structures.
